Who We Are

Fast access to documents and information is important to nearly every business in virtually every industry. However, it is fundamental to attorneys practicing civil or criminal litigation. One piece of critical information from a single document can mean the difference between winning and losing.

In 1997, Pinika opened its corporate offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan with the objective of providing law firms with more efficient and effective ways of managing the large volumes of documents associated with litigation. Since that time, Pinika has developed numerous technologically-based tools and services to streamline the document portion of the litigation process, including Pinika's InQuery for Litigation™ Document Management System and its InQuery Discovery Toolkit™.

Pinika's strengths lie in our ability to: (1) clearly understand the litigation process, (2) recommend alternative approaches to handle and manage the documents and information associated with litigation, (3) customize software applications to meet our client's specific needs, and (4) provide expert consultation and project management to implement the approved initiatives.

Pinika's managerial team brings more than 60 years of experience to the table, led by president Kim Allen. Allen played an integral role in strategic growth and acquisitions with the Iserv Technology Group before being named president of Pinika in 2005. He has more than 20 years of experience, including 10 years with IBM.
